This 2.0 hour course will provide you with a foundational understanding of the field of Implementation Science (IS). Whether you're new to the concept or looking to strengthen your current knowledge, this course is designed to orient you to the key history, concepts, and themes that shape the field. By the end of this course, you’ll have a solid framework to help you think critically about implementation challenges—particularly those related to evidence-based programs and practices.
Learning Objectives:
- Learners will be able to: briefly describe the history and focus of Implementation Science (IS).
- Learners will be able to: identify at least one popular theory, model, or framework (TMF) related to implementation, especially with regards to evidence-based programs and practices.
- Learners will be able to: describe two steps that FFT, MST and The Incredible Years take in planning for high-quality implementation during the program development stage.
